2015 2nd Annual Bump to Baby Fair in Wichita, KS!
After much anticipation, the
, hosted by the
, has finally come and gone! This is THE event for those who are expecting, have children, are planning to have children, or care about options for birth!
This year's theme was "You Pick Your Birth Team", and we had some great new features:
- double the space to allow for more vendors, more activities, and more walking space
- a kids' coloring and activity area
- a whole extra hour of time
- mini-classes throughout the morning, on topics including chiropractic care during pregnancy, doula support, & more
I enjoyed seeing a lot of familiar faces and meeting some new ones too! This is one of your best opportunities to network if you are someone who works with families, creates products that would be of interest to families, etc. Just a few of the amazing vendors we had this year included

The face of Wichita Doula! So thrilled to be here to support families!
Finished my belly cast just in time. This one is my own belly, so it's extra special! Also, visitors to my table got treated to my favorite recipe of double chocolate cookies,
Dr. Ashley Thompson of New Beginnings Chiropractic teaches one of the informative mini-classes during the Bump to Baby Fair
Dr. Rachel Viner, Viner Chiropractic, and Thuy An Nguyen from Kneaded Healing Massage will have you feeling fantastic throughout your pregnancy and beyond. They brought a massage chair to the fair!
My friend and fellow doula Janna - I definitely don't like her even a little bit. Nope.
Tiffany of T.marie Photography was there (spot me on her photo board for 5 points) and played her beautiful video of my birth on the wall right by my face, making me cry in public. Rude! :p
My doula was there! Love seeing her face

Here's hoping this lucky streak of mine holds out for a while. ;) Thanks, Riverside Music Together and Nova Natural Toys & Crafts for supporting the Wichita Birth Alliance!
If you were there, what did you think? Be sure to come back next year as either a shopper or a vendor, and consider supporting the
Wichita Birth Alliance with your membership!
