2019 Wichita Baby Gala Recap!
The third annual Wichita Baby Gala took place on September 5, 2019, and was our most successful gala yet. Tickets were once again SOLD OUT and our featured speakers had a fantastic audience! This year’s Gala was co-sponsored by Ascension Via Christi and Family First Chiropractic.

The Gala could not have run so perfectly smoothly if not for the Wichita Doula/Wichita Baby Co team behind the scenes making sure everything was ready to receive the guests! We like to feature a local bakery each year to offer sweet treats and snacks to all the guests, as well as shopping and ideas for baby showers, sip & sees, and baby birthday parties! This year our featured bakery was Perfectly Blended Bakery.
Carry Wichita featured a stroller valet at the entrance, where parents interested in learning more about babywearing could leave their stroller safely and be taught to use a baby carrier by a professional right then and there!
Next up, our three featured speakers. We were excited to feature three local experts to speak on topics that are currently highly relevant to Wichita moms and dads: Ascension Via Christi’s Elisabeth, RN; Wichita Pediatric Dentistry; and Dr. Alleman of Antioch Med.

Each year Wichita Doula’s Annual Diaper Drive raises thousands of diapers each year for local Wichita families in need - at our citywide diaper drive in May, and at the Wichita Baby Gala in September. Guests bring diaper donations in order to receive an extra giveaway ticket!
