::GIVEAWAY:: 8 Sheep Organics Magnesium Lotion for SLEEP Review

Sleep is my obsession. Getting enough sleep. Getting the right kind of sleep. Getting my clients more sleep. Teaching their babies to sleep. Sound machines. Baths and supplements and blue light blockers. And naturally, I’m a fan of magnesium, that underrated supplement which hits the trifecta of pregnancy complaints: leg cramps, constipation, and insomnia.

I don’t like to swallow pills if I can help it, and my doctor told me my favorite fizzy magnesium bedtime drink isn’t easily absorbed and contains too much arsenic (boo hiss!). But I gotta get that magnesium in…

When I saw an ad on social media for this transdermal magnesium lotion, I couldn’t wait to learn more and give it a try. It comes in a cute little jar, and is lightly scented with lavender essential oil. The texture is super smooth and creamy, and goes on nicely without being too greasy. I put it on my legs, feet, and shoulders, put on my pajamas, and got in bed…

Guys, it basically knocked me out.

My adrenals like to act up and my cortisol levels can do some funky things when I’ve been stressed or not sleeping 9 hours a night (hello night shifts, hello event planning, hello middle of the night birth calls!) so I hadn’t slept well in almost two weeks and I was really feeling it. I woke up actually feeling refreshed - like the last thing I remembered was lying down and then suddenly it was morning.

I now use the lotion every time I need to make sure that I sleep really well, or if I feel any leg cramps creeping up on me.
